Brianna Wiest
"Over the past few years, Brianna Wiest has gained renown for her deeply moving, philosophical writing. This new compilation of her published work features pieces on why you should pursue purpose over passion, embrace negative thinking, see the wisdom in daily routine, and become aware of the cognitive biases that are creating the way you see your life. Some of these pieces have never been seen; others have been read by millions of people around the world. Regardless, each will leave you thinking: This idea changed my life."--provided by publisher.

"Solid self-help book that distills a lot of ancient wisdom from most major philosophical disciplines and places it in a modern context. To be honest, a lot of the chapters cover similar topics which makes certain parts feel redundant. This could have been 50 pages shorter. However, I still took away some memorable ideas and quotes that serve as gentle reminders about how to live a good life."
"I read this book not knowing what to expect really. I absolutely loved it. Even if some of the essays didn’t change my thinking, I learned from all of them. They provide you with prospective of other humans living amongst us. I was filled with more and more knowledge as I turned each page. It’s a great read. I still pick it up from time to time just to read a couple of my markings that I have saved. I promise everyone will enjoy at least one essay from this book, if not more, to say the very least. #selfhelp #essays #memoir "

"I found some points repetitive but overall I enjoyed the book. Not something I would want to read through all at once as it can be a little overwhelming but taking moments to read sections at a time. "
