"Dnf

How to explain my feelings on this book. It had no gumption, spirit, heart maybe. The same story you've heard time and time again. Special one of a kind protagonist, royalty, strong, gorgeous, meh. I was just bored from the very beginning. The character build felt a bit shallow and the world building didn't feel organic. Just honestly not in the mood for this, sorry for the spiteful review but it's how I perceived it."
"Dark fantasy academia with some hardcoreeeee bully romance.

Parentless twin girls from the slums of Chicago randomly meet a handsome stranger who tells them they are actually powerful fae and their real parents (also dead) are rich AF. In order to gain access to their inheritance they must attend Zodiac Academy and graduate. Problem is..their real parents weren’t just rich af, they were the king and queen. And with them being MIA in the mortal world, new heirs to the throne have already been lined up. Four to be precise, and they are all drop dead gorgeous men. And they aren’t thrilled about the twins coming back into their world and will fight to push them out.

This book is like Harry Potter with a bully romance. And I have a feeling this is going to be a longggggg slow burn.

I couldn’t put it down. Please tell me these sisters kick everyone’s ass in the next book?!

Edit:
Currently on book 6 in the series. So like.. this series is legit enemies to lovers in its rawest form.

The tension is out of this world.

I would caution people about to start this series IF:
You don’t like dark/bully romance
You can’t handle the tension and lack of a conclusion on who ends up with who for at least six books.. maybe more.

Now if you loved the vampire diaries show and loved how it took Delena a year and a day to legit uncomplicated be together.. THEN THIS SERIES IS FOR YOU. Enjoy❤️"

"Based on the hype around this series, this book was not at all what I was expecting. There was absolutely no character growth or plot advancement. In the end, the main characters are in the exact same position and mentality as they were in the first 25% of the book. Forced finished and will not continue the series."
"I started this book after Ruthless Boys of The Zodiac, which I loved. It was a slow start and I knew it would be so it’s fine. The book wasn’t bad, its like A Court Of Thrones and Roses. Slow, dull but necessary for the whole of the series.

I did like the inner dialogue of the sisters. Many times books go on and on and ON with dull, repetitive inner thoughts but Tory is hilarious."
