"Another holiday read. I did finish this one. It is written in a snappy, easy to read, humourous style. Their idea is that all of life can be better understood if looked at from an economic point of view. Sounds dry but they cover some interesting subjects from angles that you wouldn't normally think of. The last chapter on climate change is the most controversial, but very thought provoking.

I realized once I finished it that there is a lot of coverage of women and their lot in life, and not your normal feminist politics but quite empowering nonetheless.

It was a fun book to read by the pool between cold drinks after cycling in the morning."
