"Glad it’s over. I’m glad the end gives you closer.

Meg is an addict and so is her famous sister, Hailey. Hailey checks into a rehab and then is dead. Meg goes undercover there to find out what’s happening. She finds out Hailey is not dead and has had surgery and now is jade. No one can tell. It’s an experiment by the owner of the clinic Dr lutz. He wants to make it a new criminal enterprise. They come into rehab and pay him 10 million. They “die” and get new lives. Dr. Lutz decides to kill Meg when she uncovers everything but Hailey kills him first."
"I had a difficult time deciding whether to rate this 2 or 3 stars, but ultimately, I decided on two stars. I almost didn't finish this book. I started to lose interest and then got a little confused for a minute in the first few chapters, so I nearly quit reading after the first few chapters. Come to find out...110 more chapters later...I should have stopped reading at the beginning and not kept going.

I felt like this was false advertising. I was led to believe that this was going to be a great thriller, but it was much less than that and maybe an okay thriller in the end. After I finished the book, I found myself wondering what the point of it was, especially with its 115 chapters. I'm sorry, but 115 chapters are too long for this story. I can understand other books having 115 chapters, but not this one.

In the end, I found myself thinking that I've heard and been told that when you write something, you need to make sure you deliver on the promises you make to your readers. This hardly delivered what was promised and what I expected as a reader, so I was annoyed at the time I spent reading it.

Of course, this is only my opinion and experience with reading it, so make sure to read and check out all the reviews. You might like it even though I did not."
"3 Stars
Cover: 5 Stars

Thanks to NetGalley and the Author for an eARC.

This was a compelling thriller that was a quick read, if a bit on the long side. I personally don't love stories about addiction, mental illness, and rehabilitation, and these are the major themes in this book. I would definately read other books by this author."
