Enemies to lovers, found family and heart-breaking romance comes All This Twisted Glory, the highly anticipated third novel in the Persian inspired mythology This Woven Kingdom series As the long-lost heir to the Jinn throne, Alizeh has finally found her people—and she might’ve found her crown. Cyrus, the mercurial ruler of Tulan, has offered her his kingdom in a twisted exchange: one that would begin with their marriage and end with his murder. Cyrus’s dark reputation precedes him; all the world knows of his blood-soaked past. Killing him should be easy—and accepting his offer might be the only way to fulfill her destiny and save her people. But the more Alizeh learns of him, the more she questions whether the terrible stories about him are true. Ensnared by secrets, Cyrus has ached for Alizeh since she first appeared in his dreams many months ago. Now that he knows those visions were planted by the devil, he can hardly bear to look at her—much less endure her company. But despite their best efforts to despise each other, Alizeh and Cyrus are drawn together over and over with an all-consuming thirst that threatens to destroy them both. Meanwhile, Prince Kamran has arrived in Tulan, ready to exact revenge... Layered with exquisite tension and heart-stopping romance, All This Twisted Glory is the explosive third book in the captivating, bestselling This Woven Kingdom series.

"Why is the plot of this serie so slow ? Nothing really happens. We only get some action in the last few chapters ugh. Those 3 books could easily have been 1 book. But I live for the desperate romantic display. He’s down bad for Alizeh. I just hope there’s more action in the next book ( and spoilers. I’m rooting for Huda and Kamran ) "
"Well, here we are at book three with a plot that could have barely filled the pages of one book. Still, I am intrigued and interested in continuing the series. The lack of progression is made up for by tons of character development, angst, and a few blush-worthy moments.
Meanwhile, I cannot deny the anger that I felt when I realized what the author was doing with Kamran. If you look back the only rudeness he has shown was in believing Alizeh was a spy and had turned on him. Each time he felt ashamed for thinking those things. Now in Twisted Glory, he is acting uncharacteristically cruel and all to get him off Alizeh's plate. It isn't believable or fair to the reader. The author seemingly changed his character overnight.
And yet as much as I hate it Cryus is growing on me. Only because I am a sucker for the traumatized, seemingly bad but not, gruff men. Still, he doesn't know Alizeh enough to have these feelings for her. Cryus only knows her in his dreams in which the devil uses Alizeh to seek control over him. Pretty much a Stockholm syndrome situation.
I think a lot of the readers forget how much time has not gone by as well. These three books, time-wise, have only been a handful of months. The pace is brutally glacial and there is lots of telling and not showing. Yet, here I am still wanting the next book. I'm also enjoying the side characters. Hazan feels deeply important and maybe a little gay *fingers crossed*. The rest of the crew is hilariously chaotic. But again I am not enjoying Kamran's transformation and now he also has a new love interest flung on him out of nowhere. It does not feel natural at all. And not much going on with Alizeh. She is stable and as sweet as ever.
