"Damn it, I loved this book. It was ridiculous in exactly the right way. I really thought I was going to hate it, especially when I started it, but I easily got wrapped up in the story.

I like Deanna/Jessica (main character). She's funny, confident, and intriguing. She obviously has a dark past, and I tore through the book to find out what all happened. I also like that she cares about the right things, as evidenced in the suspense parts of the book.

This book was creative and unique. It's quite over-the-top, but in the best way. I'll definitely be continuing with the series."
"This is seriously one of the dumbest books I have ever read. Fan-fiction level writing at best, completely unbelievable, insulting to anyone with actual mental illness or has experienced trauma or works in the mental health field, and just.....stupid overall. The author seriously tried to wikipedia articles on psychosis and still failed miserably. It is so bad I laughed at times, but this author needs to stick to inane sexytimes and try to stay out of any serious subject matter in the future please."

"I enjoyed the book so much. I did not want to put it down. It's an easy read. Read it in a day. For the type of book it was, I feel like it did not need any more or any less.

It's about a webcam girl who hasn't left her apartment in 3 yrs bc she's afraid she'll murder someone. She has serial killer thoughts and fantasies, so she thinks she protecting the world by locking herself away.
Then one day in a chat room, she encounters a man that borderlines pedophilia and it worries her. She goes into detective mode and finds out his fantasies are, in fact, reality and she does the unimaginable to save a little girl named Annie.

I really loved it. It was fast-paced and intriguing. I was hooked by the first 10 pages. It has a little romance and I feel it was necessary. It didn't seem forced and flowed with the plot. I hate when a suspense/thriller turns into a romance bc they force feed you a budding relationship they are annoyingly fighting to suppress. 🙄

"
