"I read it a while ago so I can’t pin point a part , but the Colorado series was definitely my favorite from Kristen Ashley!!"

"I was surprised after reading this. I was expecting a cute little book that was a quick read and a light romance. This was not the case. It was a quick read, but this is not your ordinary fluffy romance novel. It had well developed characters who I could connect with and it had a great story. I almost didn't read it because the cover wasn't really catching my attention and that would have been a big mistake.

This has quite a story, I really liked this. At first it felt like there were two stories playing out and I enjoyed watching them play out and unfold. I enjoyed watching them all come together at the end. I enjoyed the internal struggle Nina had with both her current situation of a time out adventure and the hunk who is trying to convince her to stay.

I live in the Rocky Mountains and I really enjoyed a book that was set in the mountains I love. I could imagine the view from the bluffs and I could imagine what it would look like sitting on the back porch watching the sky change colors as the sun set. I think the author did a great job of showing off the landscape that Max had.

The only thing that bugged me was the nicknames. A few that felt weird were darling (I could be wrong, but I had always thought this was a southern nickname, not much for us in the west) and my lovely. But, they were small things. Endearments that just seemed weird.

But really, I'm excited to move on to the next novel, even though I had hoped it would continue with the characters we already met, but I'm sure it will be just as good."
"I just finished the book and I am in awe of how truly awesome it was!
I love to read and I recently started reading from the romance genre and I have been annoyed at how completely alike all the books I read are. They are carbon copies of the same thing over and over again. This book was not a carbon copy. It is completely new and deserves its own genre.

It's a mystery and a romance together but it's not your average romance nor is it your average mystery. Kristen has a unique way of completely focusing on the romance and then completely focusing on the mystery so that you are completely entwined in both stories and are dying to know what happens.

She makes you fall in love with the characters, so much so that you become rooting for them and crying with them and laughing with them and screaming at the book when you want things to turn out the right way.

I loved this book. I loved getting lost in it and I loved how unique it was. I loved how nothing turned out like I predicted and how in the end I'm glad that it ended the way it did but also wishing there were more pages devoted to this story and these people that I had fallen in love with.

I will definitely be picking up another Kristen Ashley book but probably in a few days, once I've had a chance to fully explore my love for these characters and their story."
"It's hard to say, as there were so many parts I loved, but it's probably Max and Nina's first trip to The Mark and their interactions just before. How about you?"
