"I believe this to be one of the most important books of all times, not because of how motivational or hopeful it is but because of its tragic honesty about life. The character of Kusunoki almost felt made for me, as if he knew exactly how I felt. I felt a personal connection with him as he experienced the highs and lows of his final months of life and I came out of it finding a greater understanding of myself, my life, and how I can move forward. That is why I believe it is important"
