"I have never read anything quite like this book but it was very good! It was a breath of fresh air to read from the perspective of George, a transgender boy who identified as a girl. I like to think that I would have been very much like her friend Kelly, who was one of the first she told and accepted George just as she was. I really loved the courage George showed throughout the story and would love to read more books where main characters find themselves even if it is as a different sexuality or gender!"

"I showed this to my friend because she didn’t understand why I was trans; she now calls me by my pronouns and calls me my preferred name. "

"I absolutely loved this book. Not only did it remind me of when I read Charlottes Web as a child, but it also gave me a glimpse into how someone who doesn't identify with their gender mind feel like. While reading this story there were so many things that I noticed that we as teachers do to separate students by gender and it made me realize that we need to be understanding of those who are confused about their identity and are not willing to share just yet. Definitely recommend!"
