Laced with romance, gothic imagery, Catholic mysticism, diaspora, and horror... When lonely transgender exorcist, Colin Hart, finds himself challenged by an unruly haunted house in Gideon, Colorado, he's kept awake by ghosts, demons, ghouls, and the handsome nonbinary homeowner, Bishop Martínez. Unlike the simple hauntings Colin is accustomed to, Bishop's house is a living beacon, attracting a plethora of inhuman creatures, including a vengeful wolf-headed spirit who might be the key to quieting their sleepless nights. But as a heartbreaking mystery unravels, Colin comes face-to-face with the past Bishop tried to bury, opens a closet full of bloody skeletons, and trips into an accidental romance. As paranormally skilled as Colin might be, this particular haunting may be too messy for him to handle...

"This book is absolutely stunning both inside and outside and if I could give it 10 stars I definitely would.

The plot centers on Colin, a trans exorcist, and Bishop, a non binary witch, as they struggle against the odds to expel the evil spirits from Bishop's home.

This book was truly a pleasure to read, and it was so well written. The writing style was beautiful, but it still remained simple so it was easy to comprehend. You just can't put the book down once you start reading because the story is so captivating. The writing is flawless, including the style, tone, pace, and details. Simply wonderful *chefs kiss*. Another thing that stood out was the book's vibes, which were genuinely amazing, and the atmosphere was present from page one. You never knew when the spirits would emerge from the shadows, and it had the perfect amount of spookiness.

I read this book in one sitting because I was unable to put it down. The story is really interesting and well though out. You can tell that the author did a lot of research while writing the book. It also had a unique mix of both religious and spiritual undertones and it was interesting to see how the different characters with different beliefs worked together.

Speaking of the characters, they were extremely likable, and you couldn't help but root for them to succeed. Everyone felt realistic and human because they all had flaws. They had their own little baggage to carry with them, and the way they treated one another was really tender and heartwarming. Additionally, the cast of characters is highly diverse and unique. I adored each of them, and I look forward to seeing where their journey takes them."
