"A fun twist on the Jekyll/Hyde persona. The author plays on the schism of the two personas as well as adding a steampunk/paranormal elements that keep the story alive and interesting. I truly enjoyed both the outspoken, fearless energy of Lizzie Hyde and the prim but opinionated attitude of Eliza. Carr provides the reader with a suspenseful penny dreadful atmosphere without overpowering the story or bogging it down in overly ornate language. If you love Steampunk/Gaslamp Fantasies/Victoriana & murder mysteries this is for you!"
