Since high school began, Alison Sanger and Ethan Molloy have competed on almost everything. AP classes, the school paper, community service, it never ends. If Alison could avoid Ethan until graduation, she would. Except, naturally, for two over-achieving seniors with their sights on valedictorian and Harvard, they share all the same classes and extracurriculars. So when their school's principal assigns them the task of co-planning a previous class's ten-year reunion, with the promise of a recommendation for Harvard if they do, Ethan and Alison are willing to endure one more activity together if it means beating the other out of the lead. But with all this extra time spent in each other's company, their rivalry begins to feel closer to friendship. And as tension between them builds, Alison fights the growing realization that the only thing she wants more than winning . . . is Ethan

"Light and funny read! I recommend it to anyone who loves enemies-to-lovers in a school setting. I liked the heroine being stubborn, very goal-oriented, and a little judgemental: her flaws only added to the full picture. She was portrayed far more realistic than many YA heroines. I also really enjoyed the authors' writing style."
"I've been eagerly waiting for this release ever since the teaser came out a few months ago, and I was not disappointed!

I am a gigantic sucker for both enemies to lovers and we-hate-each-other-but-we're-hooking-up dynamics, probably just because I love emotional turmoil and things being as messy as physically possible sometimes, but anyway, It's thrilling when I find a book that refuses to be set down when I should be sleeping.

I'm also a high school senior, and also have parents in their late 50s (although in my case I'm actually the oldest sibling, which I find is even more unusual), and these are just some of the things that low-key stressed me out about this book. Stop reminding me that my parents are old lol. Stop making me feel like the most unmotivated person in the world who didn't make memories of any kind except my bedroom walls. But this anxiety is very specific to me and even to me it is minor, so not something I hold against the book. (Although I will probably go get started on one of my new assignments now, so thanks for the motivator. Nothing to be done about my lack of a social life, unfortunately)

Anyway, this is thoroughly satisfying if you're looking for an intense, enemies-to-lovers overachiever high school romance. Which I was. Can't wait for what's next!"

"One of my all time favorite romance tropes is that of Enemies to Lovers, so this one was a must for me, and IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. As I was reading this novel, I was picturing each character starring in a 90’s rom-com. Fun, silly, lots of miscommunication, and all the bickering. All this before the inevitable happens (reference said trope). I totally recommend this book to fans of ‘To All the Boys I’ve Love Before’ and ‘Fangirl’.

Quick, and such a fun read worth reading over the weekend out in the sun!"
