Burned Dreams

"where do i even start!? there was soo much emotions to unpack while reading book #7! after finishing fractured souls, i was highly anticipating burned dreams & was so happy to receive an arc from the queen herself. i can never get enough of neva’s perfectly imperfect series. while stolen touches is definitely still my favorite, burned dreams comes right after. i really love the interconnection the entire series have; seeing either tore or roman enter the story every now & then will always be my favorite scenes. also alessandro & sergei is probably the best duo you can ask for in this series, both of their stories were so chaotic; i loved it. <br/><br/>burned dreams was highly driven on plot, but the characters’ development and growth was the cherry on top. while i love me a smutty book, i was actually okay with book #7 not focusing too much on it (i’d give it a level 3 spice). there was so much anger, tension, love, and passion packed into az & ravi’s story but thats what happen when the mmc is dead set on revenge after 8+ years! For those who picked up the perfectly imperfect series, you would think Az had no emotions or feelings with how he was portrayed in hidden truth as a former mate of sergei’s & in stolen touches as milene’s bodyguard but as always… neva’s mmcs are just one big giant teddy bears. the way ravenna was written, she was perfectly written for Az. i love her cleverness, her will to fight, and her sass/charm! i cannot emphasize enough that neva’s universe is full of loveable main characters. <br/><br/>i also adore the way neva inserts comedic moments in her series; it helps lighten the dark loads a bit. and now that i’m done… back to anticipating for the next book!"
