"The third book in the Enola series finds her investigating the disappearance of none other than the great Dr. Watson!

I thought this case was interesting, but as an adult, I had it solved long before Enola did. However, I don't see that as a bad thing. Set ups like this are great for teaching young/middle readers to make and confirm predictions, and notice how authors use those little clues and their word choice to build the story.

Enola is still working on keeping away from her brothers and finding out exactly why her mother left. I like the overarching plot points throughout the series. Also, the ciphers and flower code is interesting and I think a great hook for all readers."
