"This book is the third book in the Disney Villain series. This book mainly focuses on Ursula and her hatred. This gives you a bit of background for why she wanted to destroy Ariel and for why she had so much hatred in her heart to begin with. It mainly focuses on bringing other Disney characters into the story as well as random characters into the story so that it can link all of the books. The story of Ariel and Ursula is kind of the side story in the grand scheme of the series but it helps you to see why Ursula was so hateful and disliked by humans and sea-folk. Honestly it wasn’t my favorite because it didn’t focus on Ursula and her grow to power, it made that only a small point in the story. This book did set up the next part of the story really well though. If you’re hoping this will be all about Ursula, it’s isn’t. But if you’re interested in reading the entire series, it’s a nice stepping stone book."
"This book was a bit difficult for me to get through. I liked it but a lot of the book felt kind of irrelevant to the story. But then I got to the end and it all made a lot more sense."

"<strong>Another great read </strong><br/><br/>I loved it. I never liked Ursula in the movie and this book gives a great reason as to why she was so horrible. Would definitely recommend this book"

""Poor Unfortunate Soul" by Serena Valentino is, basically the little mermaid told in Ursula's pov with telling a perspective of her background and the three sisters & Princess Tulip. <br/><br/><br/>I would give "Poor Unfortunate Soul" by Serena Valentino a 3-star review because, I liked how this did have a perspective on how Ursula became who she is, I did like the twists and how the perspective of her past was unique but I honestly expected more on her background and less on the three sisters, Tulip."

"The best book of the series so far..it has a very unique twist on Ursula and at the end, you are conflicted on who you want to win because you feel bad for Ursula. "
