"<strong>Tedious and boring </strong><br/><br/>Colin and Parker. These 2 people definitely don't belong together. Parker is fiercely independent and is a take charge woman after being forced to care for her 2 younger siblings. She was a great character. Colin on the other hand is awful. He's needy, clingy, controlling, entitled, pushy and arrogant. He likes to get under Parker's skin and tease her by making fun of her attraction to him. Then later by implying he's not excited to see her and that he may be seeing other people. The author thinks this is flirty but it's just rude. Colin's biggest problem is that Parker honestly doesn't need him and it doesn't make a whole lot of sense why she ends up with him. Colin smothered her constantly. Getting mad when she didn't ask him for help. He really wanted her to be dependent on him and was constantly stuck up her backside. If this were real life, Parker would never put up with his clingy behavior or his white knight complex. Throw in the tedious details of dealing with fires and mudslides... it was just boring on top of boring. Skip this one."
