"This dude is so unhinged and I ******* love it. This doesn’t even feel like love poems cuz this mf is so delulu. Some of these poetry topics are ******* hilarious and iconic. Frankly, Ovid was the original girlypop. I think that Ovid is a god at elegies rather than the epic poetry of the Metamorphosis. I just didn’t vibe with his hexameter. I hope that I just need a different translation of Metamorphosis but I read the Amores with the same translator so I have no idea why I hate it. "
