Carian Cole
Carian Cole delivers a sweet but sexy slow burn, age gap, marriage of convenience romance with major swoony feels! I guess you could say I was a damsel in distress, and he was my knight in shining armor. But more accurately, I was a girl with a lot of bad luck, and he was a guy with a lot of muscles and tattoos and a big heart. Jude "Lucky" Lucketti wasn't just a sexy, brooding construction worker. He was my own personal hero, showing up in all the right places at the right times. Like when my car broke down and I needed a ride home, and when I face planted on the sidewalk right in front of him and he rushed me to the emergency room. Those weren't exactly my best moments, but they were his. When he approached me with a crazy idea to help me out with my many problems, I couldn't say no. He offered me a lifeline. The arrangement was supposed to be temporary. A marriage on paper and a safe place to live-nothing else. It should've been easy, but it wasn't. Because here I am, eighteen years-old, married to a man sixteen years older than me who I was never supposed to fall in love with. We had just one simple rule-no kissing the bride. But then, we broke that rule. Now, I really don't want that divorce we agreed to. Does he? Author's Note: This is a standalone contemporary romance with a guaranteed happily ever after. Not for readers under 18 years of age.

"Could have left out the last couple of plot additions and it would have been perfect, but otherwise it honestly was such a good romance! Main man never seemed creepy. He was hot and he loves the main girl so much it made me jealous. She does seem a little immature here and there but otherwise their romance is pretty believable. Marriage for convenience may be the only way I will ever accept age gap romance. It was surprisingly well done. "

"This book was amazing. Quickly became a favorite. Slow burn, believable romance with great characters. I didn’t know how I would feel about an age gap love but I cheered for them the whole time. I really enjoyed learning about Skylar’s mental health challenges and watching her fight for herself. Cannot recommend this book enough. "

"<strong>Age gap romance that is anything but instalove</strong><br/><br/>A refreshing take on the age gap romance trope. This isn’t your insta love that borders on pedo, their love is a slow burn which grows naturally from a stranger helping a teen girl get out of a bad spot to friendship and eventually love. There are many obstacles for Skylar and Jude innate as well as outside interferences. There were a few loose ends that I was disappointed didn’t get wrapped up but overall a great read."
"Loved it! Maybe he could stop thinking about the age gap at one point and just go for it… maybe I wanted them to stop wasting time 😂🤷🏽♀️"

"Don’t Kiss the Bride is a standalone, age gap Novel in dual POV with a slow burn. Carian Cole never disappoints me with her writing. Her writing just flows effortlessly from page to page, captivating the reader. It was a privilege to read Skylar and Jude's journey. <br/><br/> Skylar Aka Sparkles, 18 years of age, and Senior In Hugh school. She is an old soul, very mature for her age, and loves the 70s and 80s. I fell in love with her from page one with her sassy comebacks. Skylar's home life is less than desirable with no support system. <br/><br/>Jude Aka Lucky is a thirty-four construction worker with a heart of gold. When he sees Skylar's car is dead, he helps her, stays for the tow truck, and brings her home. From there they form a beautiful friendship. When she needs help with medical insurance because of some medical problems, Jude comes up with a marriage of convenience to go on his insurance, and takes her out of where she lives; the understanding this is temporary until Skylar gets on her feet, and the rule in place don't kiss the bride. <br/><br/>This book is beautifully written and Jude with swoon-worthy, with a little angst(you see the angst in the second half of the book) and no over the top drama. I felt every emotion. It squeezed my heart and left me not ready to say goodbye at the end. Such a beautiful story, I expect nothing less from the author."
