"Not as good as Attack the Block, but I still liked it, overstuffed as it was. Towards the end I was reminded of the kids-power vibe of Matilda. I think it would have done a little better to briefly explore Lance and Kaye’s lives and trim some of the length of the battles in the middle of the film with Edgar Wright-style cuts, or have them overlap with some of the purported ‘evils’ that were strengthening Morgana. Just mild improvements! The child actors are excellent, Merlin is hammy as hell."
