"I was honestly shocked to find out this was written by a lesbian and directed by a trans man. I’d like to think it had it’s heart in the right place because it had so much potential even when it poked fun at itself but it’s hard to stand by a film that got so many misconceptions. This honestly felt like propaganda made by a transphobic straight guy. Not an accurate representation of the LGBTQ+ community and it will leave you feeling more confused after watching it. Don’t take this movie seriously, in fact stay away from this movie altogether. "
