"To be very clear, this is NOT a Pogues documentary. It is: an odd mash-up of MacGowan's self narrated autobiography, a detailed history of Ireland and a visual ode to the farmland in Tipperary where tiny drunk Shane grew up. It's fun hearing him tell his own tales. Glad someone thought to make this kind of film before Shane MacGowan eventually passes. I guess that someone happens to be Johnny Depp..."
