"As much as I loved John Cena growing up, this is definitely one of those things in his acting career that I assume he doesn’t talk about because of how bad, and cringy it is. I understand this came out in a different time, but there’s a reason why WWE Films always had a bad reputation. The acting in this movie is bad, the story is pretty generic and I understand a lot of unrealistic nonsense needs to happen in order to make this the “action blockbuster film of the summer”, but it comes out as very amateurish. Throughout the film I kept telling myself “this is what a Michael Bay film would be if he was in film school”. Now the movie isn’t completely awful, even though I’m going hard on my opinion. The action is very cool and the car chasing scene was awesome too, but that’s it. There’s not really any redeeming qualities about this film. I would definitely not waste my time on this again."
