This is almost exclusively due to Rajnikanth’s insanely charismatic performance (amazing for a man in his 70s). Also has a fantastic score by Anirudh as well as solid cinematography to go along with it."

"didn’t know i wanted vikram with rajni until i got it. and to that point, this shares a lot in common with the lokiverse: • great cinematography • kick ass background score • deep criminal world building it even manages to have nelson’s signature comedy, tho less so than his last two films. this has its stumbles and super star is sure getting old, but if he’s in walking in slo-mo on the big screen then i am walking in fast-mo to watch it."
